Mikatura Australian Shepherds - Chyne x Tuffy Puppies 2006

Well the babies have started off to their new homes...and our weather went right down the drain the day after the first three left. Below are updated photos of the kids headed for Oregon & California and a whole bunch of the gang who were left here enjoying the snow we had overnight (other photos are still the same from the last update)! I'll update the individual puppy pics as the pups head off to their new homes, meanwhile you can have some fun figuring out who's who!

When I first went out all I could see was Sadi and one pup...but a whistle brought them all back out at a full run!

Chyne is Foss' right hand girl, a real sweetheart to live with and a good working dog. She helps Foss around the farm and out picking up cattle out of the bush and is his constant companion in his travels. She trials occasionally and has proven to be extremely stock savvy.

Tuffy has just started his working training and has a lot of natural instinct but, like his Dad Dually, he has a slightly softer approach to working. He certainly gets the job done but isn't as pushy and 'in your face sheep' as some of our other dogs. Tuffy is a love-bug, always in line for a hug and always willing to play ball or toss or whatever you want to do!
