The "Bella" of the beach!

Mirri & Bella...we're having a swimmin' lesson!
     
Well, Bella has learned to swim!  Finally I think she got tired of only standing in the water while all of the other dogs swam out to get balls and sticks.  We were at Spanish Banks a couple of weeks ago (2005) and she just went for it!  She was leaping over the little waves that were coming, and swimming like a pro!  She actually swims better than Mirri.  She now likes to leap in and swim after him as he retrieves balls.  She has absolutely  no interest in the balls at all, but likes to chase him.  Luckily she doesn't grab hold of him while swimming the way she does if they are chasing on land - she'd probably drown him!

Why by helping out the coyotes during their nightly howl of course! (shown howling at about 3.5 weeks!)
Moon left us in January 2005... to be a flyin' pupper and head to Hamilton, Ontario to join Natalie & Andrew and Mirri (Mikatura's Yaraay Miri) one of our Molly/Ceilidh pups!  We're sure Moon is going to love meeting her new family, especially her older half-brother and equally sure she'll enjoy her new name "Bella"!
