Ceilidh ~ May 2000
Well, we don't have any ducks anymore but Ceilidh at six months of age is
very eager to work the sheep. He started off showing his instinct, at three months
of age, by herding two ram lambs that we had. We now have two small lambs
(small sized and younger) and since Ceilidh has grown and is much larger than the lambs we
have been teaching him a few commands such as "that'll do"...he catches on very
quickly! He's now graduated to helping Molly put the sheep in the barn at night and
he's learning new commands well and handling new situations on a daily basis.

3 months of age and wanting to visit the pigs! (hmmm no wonder he's
turned into our official "hawg dawg"!

One of Ceilidh's breeders, the wonderful Carol Ann Hartnagle, had this to
say about him:
"Your boy-dog is an absolute lover! He thinks he's a
"peepul" - which is dog-tongue for: people/person!!! Every day he plays with Dot
(his older half sister) and runs and jumps and chases ducks!"
