Date of Birth: April 11, 2006 Registration: ASCA / CKC Sire: Mikatura's Tuff E Nuff DNA-VP Dam: Mikatura's Saddle Ridge DNA-CP STDs Gender: Female (intact) Colour: Red merle with copper & white Eyes: Amber / Amber & Blue Dusty earned her ASCA Started Sheep title at the WASCA 2008 Stockdog Trials held at Gimlet Rodeo Grounds, Leslieville, Alberta. Many thanks to Judges Steve Shope & Roy Sage for their wonderful comments about this talented girl! Foss was at the controls for this trial as Brent was "out of action", but we expect to see great things from Brent & his Dusty-Dawg in the future! Dusty was also the recipient of the "Inspirational Award" presented to the dog and handler that brought inspiration to the judge whether through their working bond or by sheer raw talent exhibited! This cutie belongs to Brent Glenn & Lynn Tait DVM from Bentley, Alberta. She helps them keep the kids in line & helps work with their sheep herd, as well as occasionally keeping Brent company in his big-rig on some long hauls...first day home she'd come running when she heard a truck start! In August 2007, Brent & Dusty joined us for their very first CKC herding trials...trained & handled exclusively by Brent, Dusty took 3rd place & 1 leg of her CKC Herding Started title!!!! Judge Sue Mesa, Brent Glenn & Mikatura's WildWest Dusty Rose November 19/06 - Dusty came along with Brent & Máel Dúin to work some sheep...she is 7 months old and all we could say was....W-O-W! That's some little herding girl there!
