If there ever comes a
day when we can't be together,
keep me in your heart,
I'll stay there forever.
~~ Winnie The Pooh
This page is dedicated to all the fur-babies
everywhere who are now over the rainbow bridge, and especially to the memories of our
own wonderful Aussie companions who had to leave us far too early. We would have been happy to spend our
entire lives with all of them. Sleep in peace my friends, we miss you but continue to see
you in the wonderful Aussies sharing our lives now...you taught them well and you come to
mind constantly when one of them performs one of your antics...so even as the years pass
by
you still make us smile!
Our friends never truly
leave us
Their memories live on in our hearts,
forever

This sweet young fella, who's name means "sunny storm",
lived with his family Natalie and Andrew Grant .
Thank you both for giving Mirri such a loving home while he was with you.

March 29/02 - August 2/02
My sweet darling Angel passed away
after weeks of fighting complications associated with Parvovirus that he
contacted just before he got his second set of puppy shots. Please be
careful with your babies, one set of shots does not give them the immunity
to disease that they need to thrive!
Four weeks old...playing in the spring sunshine!

I know your life, on earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and Son
Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing.

Oh the lonely sound of my voice callin',
is driving me insane;
Just like rain the tears keep fallin',
'cause nobody answers when I call your name.

...Carry You
When I brought you home, I carried you.
I held you close and made a promise that day.
As I breathed in that sweet, soft, clean smell,
I promised to carry you, and keep you safe and well.
I laughed and spoke so quietly to you.
I taught you your name. You showed me your heart.
And I showed you mine, as I carried you, that day.
When I take you home, I'll carry you.
I'll hold you close, as I promised that day.
I'll breathe in that old familiar smell,
and keep my promise to keep you safe and well.
I'll cry as I speak so quietly to you.
I'll say your name. You'll show me your heart.
And I will lose mine, when I carry you, that day.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

The Last Battle
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close -- we two -- these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
