Why by helping out the coyotes during their nightly howl of course! (shown
howling at about 3.5 weeks!)
Moon left us in January 2005...she went to be a flyin' pupper
and headed to Hamilton, Ontario to join Natalie & Andrew Grant. Moon has not only had a name change to Bella, she's also become a traveler...travelling
from Ontario to British Columbia with her family to their new home in Vancouver
BC!

Raine is in her new home in Missouri with Laurie,
Colin & Collier, a
great family (human & canine!). Laurie is a certified animal behaviorist,
teaches obedience classes for Noah's Ark & specializes in working with difficult
dogs.

likely agility & herding as well!

'Poppy'
This very handsome young man is
now in Minden, Ontario with Rhonda & John...his call name "Poppy" was picked
in honour of Rhonda's Grandfather!
It looks like Poppy has settled right in, two huge bones, half a zillion
toys, a cat that actually puts up with him when he takes her toys, and two
wonderful humans to call his own!

Mikatura's Tuff E Nuff
"Tuffy"
We're very proud to announce that Tuffy
took 4th place in his class in the Feather River Australian Shepherd Club
pre-show at the ASCA Nationals in Paso Robles California! Many thanks to
Judge Joe Parreira for for seeing beyond the puppy hi-jinks to the true
potential of our red devil!
At 5 weeks
This boy is the spitfire of the group, he never quits once he's made up his
mind to do something
(hence the name, after World Champion Bull Rider Tuff Hedeman)...if there's mischief, he's there, if
there isn't he'll make some! Every time you look he's heeling one of the other
pups or herding them into a corner! Tuff stayed here at Mikatura
so watch for him at working trials in the future!

Our condolences to sweet Caelidh
on the loss of her best buddy
Máel Dúin. We will all miss him & his
happy, gentle ways.
This boy, who's name is pronounced 'Muldoon', got his name
because of his personality. A 'hooley' is a boisterous party and this boy
is a party all by himself...and funny enough he's the first born so he started
the pups very first party! A very sweet and gentle young fella, he's full of the
fire needed to be a great agility or working dog and comes with the ancestry to
back it up! He is really full of beans, always ready for a free-for-all
and more fun than a barrel of monkeys while still being a real snuggle-bug!
